Theme: Leadership That Listens: Connecting Constituents and Aspirants in a Digital Age
As the Kasipul and Ugunja by-elections draw near, a team of respected digital media and community organizations is joining forces to promote transparency and issue-based leadership. The November 2025 by-elections present an important opportunity for voters in Kasipul and Ugunja to assess who best represents their aspirations. This debate provides a trusted platform for candidates to share their ideas and for voters to listen, question, and decide.
For the candidates, this is a chance to demonstrate leadership, reach a broad digital audience, and showcase your readiness to serve. For the voters, this is a chance to make an informed choice rooted in integrity, development, and accountability.
The Kasipul & Ugunja Aspirants’ Debate will take place on 11th and 12th November and will be streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and X (Twitter).

Purpose of the Debate
The debate aims to provide a neutral and professional platform for all aspirants to present their vision, respond to community concerns, and connect directly with voters.
Rather than focusing on party rivalry, the discussion will center on key development issues such as:
- Youth employment and empowerment
- Education and bursary management
- Healthcare services
- Infrastructure and roads
- Transparency in public funds
- Women and inclusion in leadership
All candidates cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) have been invited to attend. Each will have equal speaking time and the same opportunity to share their agenda with voters.
The debate will be moderated by experienced journalists and digital creators to ensure fairness, respect, and a focus on facts over personalities.
